What inseam lengths do you offer for gym shorts?
Standard options are 5-inch and 7-inch inseam. The 5-inch inseam suits training, CrossFit, and running. The 7-inch inseam is preferred for team sports and casual gym wear. Custom lengths from 4-9 inches are available at MOQ 300 pieces per length.
What is the difference between mesh-lined and unlined shorts?
Mesh-lined shorts have an inner brief layer sewn in, typically 100% polyester mesh, eliminating the need for separate underwear. Unlined shorts are a single layer, lighter and cooler, requiring compression shorts underneath. Mesh lining adds approximately $0.80-1.20 per unit in cost.
What fabrics are best for athletic shorts?
100% polyester or polyester-spandex (92/8) are standard for moisture-wicking performance. Nylon-spandex is lighter and more durable but costs more. Cotton-blend shorts are available for lifestyle or casual positioning. Fabric weight for shorts typically runs 130-180 gsm.
What pocket options are available on gym shorts?
Side seam open pockets are standard. Zip pockets at the back or sides add $0.60-1.00 per unit. Zippered side pockets are the most-requested upgrade for running and outdoor use. Phone-sized pockets (minimum 4x7 inches) can be specified in the tech pack.
Can shorts be sublimation printed?
Yes. Shorts made from 100% polyester are fully compatible with dye-sublimation printing. All-over prints are cut-and-sew after printing, so seams interrupt the pattern. Design files must be supplied at 150 dpi minimum. Sublimation is not available on cotton or cotton-blend fabrics.
What is the MOQ for wholesale gym shorts?
MOQ is 300 pieces per style per color. For sublimation-printed shorts, MOQ is the same 300 pieces per design. Mixed size runs (S-2XL) count toward the same MOQ. Blank shorts without decoration have the same MOQ on standard stock colors.
